It's here, finally... the World Premiere of Rise of the Sufferfests, the first feature documentary about the global obstacle race phenomenon.
Three years in the making... we are sooo ready to unleash this beast. And since the first race we ever filmed at was Spartan's 2013 Monterey Beast, we couldn't think of a better time and place to debut this puppy than the evening of the upcoming Monterey Super.
In the spirit of sufferfests, we're forsaking cushy, climate controlled theaters in favor of a cinema-under-the-stars experience. We've rented out a football stadium - and a massive inflatable screen - and we're hoping that a sh!!!tload of Spartans will show up with friends and family for this special event. Doors will open at 7pm, giving guests time to mix and mingle, eat, drink and be merry. We'll have music and other fun surprises until sunset. That's when the real fun begins... THE MOVIE. The film will start right around 8:30.

Afterwards (10ish) OCR superstar and ROSF scene-stealer Hunter McIntyre (aka "The Sheriff"/#bicepswinraces) will be leading what we can only imagine will be a lively Q&A with several of the film's athletes, insiders and talking heads.
